GlaxoSmithKline patient assistance programs provided medicines valued at almost $388 million (Wholesale Acquisition Cost) to more than 484,000 patients during 2007.
Commitment to Access provides free GSK oncology medicines to eligible low-income patients without prescription drug benefits. Patients must meet certain eligibility criteria to qualify for assistance and must enroll in Commitment to
Access with the help of an Advocate.
All GSK oncology medicines are offered for use in an outpatient setting. GSK non-oncology medicines are available through a separate program, Bridges to Access.
Basics of the program
Patients must meet certain eligibility
criteria to qualify for assistance and must enroll in Commitment
to Access with the help of an Advocate.
We’ve developed a telephone enrollment process that
allows initial eligibility determinations to be made quickly so
that patients may obtain their prescribed GSK medicines immediately
through any retail pharmacy of choice. See the Enrollment
for additional information.
