An advocate may be anyone involved in the delivery of the patient's healthcare.
Commitment to Access advocates are responsible for:
- helping patients obtain, complete and sign the application
- contacting Commitment to Access by phone to enroll patients
- sending in documentation after the phone enrollment is complete
- ordering refills for patients if they require assistance
- helping patients re-enroll after a year, if needed
- informing GSK of any prescription, address or income changes
- following up with the patient at intervals as needed by the program
